Is Democracy a Solution?

I donot feel like voting, I feel Election Commission’s efforts need to be diverted towards a better direction!

Not because most of people contesting elections and presenting themselves for the office are corrupt & incompetent, OR Because they need Taxi drivers to be Graduates & are promoters of ignorant Law-maker, leaving interpretation of law to the Judges, whose verdict they don’t take seriously, OR Because Islam discourages anyone to present himself for a public leadership office, OR Because the present parliamentary structure was decided during President-BB meeting, at least an year before the actual elections, OR Because 44% of votes casted in the last elections were bogus entries, OR Because the large business-owning families veto the resolutions or laws to be made in favour of common people,

But because I have some Principled Conflicts with the very Concept of Democracy.

I feel Election commission is wasting the money & resources of our nation by working in this direction.

What is democracy?

It is a form of govt that needs approval of majority before doing something good, and this majority may come from a particular class, who may not be bothered about the people from other class. Such are our experiences.

Below are few of at least 44 instances in the Noble Quran, where Allah tells us that majority are on a wrong path (Please facilitate your search for all references by going to http://www.islamicity.com/quransearch/ and searching ‘Phonetic aksarohum’, i.e, majority), Few are quoted below:

Al-Baqara [2:100], Al-Imran [3:110], Al-Ma’idah [5:103], Al-An’am [6:37], Al-An’am [6:111], Al-A’raf [7:17], Al-A’raf [7:102], Al-A’raf [7:131], Al-Anfal [8:34], At-Tauba [9:8], Younus [10:36], Younas [10:55], Younus [10:60], Yusuf [12:106], An-Nahl [16:75], An-Nahl [16:83], An-Nahl [16:101]…………and so on.

Now, please see below quotes from Non-Islamic people, who verify that the Democratic process is deemed to be a failure, whereas actual welfare citizen’s state concept comes from the divine guidance only.

If we separate religion from state, we’ll be heading towards a disaster.

Though we need consultancy, but it should be with experts only. We discuss scientific issues with relevant scientists having such expertise only, whereas, For our law making bodies, we depend upon votes by people most of whom have no vision or understanding.

It is also evident from above Quranic quotes that majority can’t be made a criteria for taking decisions.

We were blessed with Quran & Authentic Hadith to make our laws & decisions pertaining to nearly all aspects of our social & personal matters; it is now our job to extract and implement them.

After a lot of pondering I’ve come to understanding that Democracy is the religion of few Powerfuls, who force it upon countries, where it suites them.

I’m ashamed of listening to our leaders supporting every point of theirs in relation to Democracy; Is it to please their western gods?

Can’t we just work for the laws that are given from the Divine Revelations? and quote them in there proper essence?

Can’t we educate our growing generations direct from Quran & Authentic Hadith to be better humans and know the cause of their sending in this world?

Democracy is definitely NOT the way forward, we need scholars with Authentic knowledge & Technocrats to lead the govt.
